Coronavirus update

In light of the unfolding COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, I’d like to let you know what it means for our dental practice.

Your safety is our top priority!

The risk of exposure to COVID-19 in our dental surgery is extremely low. We are an accredited dental practice and maintain the highest quality of sterilisation standards at all times. Part of what being accredited (which not all dental practices are) is that all of our staff have undergone thorough training in infection control protocol, our equipment is tested regularly and we are held to an extremely high standard.

As the owner of this practice, my job is to protect our staff and to protect our patients. To this end, we ask that if you have any flu like symptoms (fever, sore throat, cough, blocked/runny nose) please do not come into the clinic. Reschedule your appointments if need be.

If you do visit our clinic, you’ll note that we’ve removed magazines and toys from the waiting room and have spaced our chairs further apart. Door handles, counter tops, chairs and all other surfaces are being disinfected routinely throughout the day. All clinical surfaces are being disinfected in between every single patient (as they always are) and our sterilisation procedures are of the highest standard. In fact, coming here is safer than most other business you’re likely to visit.

If you have any queries or concerns, please don’t hesitate to return email or phone our friendly office staff on 3632 8100. We look forward to continuing to care for your oral health as we always have.

Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
