When does my child need braces?

This is quite a complex question to answer.  One of the key things to remember though is that there is no prescribed age that a child should be examined to determine whether they need braces or not.   Some children benefit from braces at 9 years of age and others when they are 15, as it depends largely on what dental development stage they are at.
